The Te Araroa is a 3039 km Trail thru New Zealand
The TA starts in Cape Reinga and finishes in the town of Bluff. The North Island section goes from Cape Reinga to Wellingon and is 1725 km long. The trail is relatively new and is made up of mainly existing trails with road walking included to link the tracks.
It can take between 4 to 6 months to complete the full trail, so is a serious undertaking.
